Javier Salinas is Chief Economist at LarrainVial Research, where he leads macroeconomic analysis for Chile, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru. He has more than 15 years of experience in applied economic research and financial markets. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Monterrey (Mexico), as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Macroeconomics and a Master’s degree in Finance from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He complements his professional work with teaching in economics and finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
