It is an international non-profit organization that brings together trade associations and entities managing pension funds in 10 countries (Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Spain, and Kazakhstan).
FIAP’s mission is to strengthen the individual savings component of multi-pillar pension systems in order to ensure sustainable pensions and promote the development and depth of capital markets in the region.

The WPA is a collective organization comprised of the main advocacy associations representing pension plans and providers throughout the World, including Europe, the United States of America, Canada, Latin America, and United Kingdom.
The primary long-term objective of the WPA is to be recognized at the international level as the common voice of the pension industry representing millions of retirement income plan members.
