Angel Martínez-Aldama holds degrees in Law and in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain. Since 1995, he has worked at the Association of Collective Investment Schemes and Pension Funds (INVERCO), where he was appointed Director General in 2001 and has served as President of the organization since 2015. From 2004 to 2007, and again from 2013 to the present, he has been a member of the Board of Directors and the Management Committee of the European Funds and Asset Management Association (EFAMA). He has also served as President and Vice President of PensionsEurope (formerly the European Federation for Retirement Provision, EFRP). Additionally, he is Vice President and a Board Member of FIAP, among other roles.
