Agustín Giannini has extensive professional experience in financial markets and pension portfolio management. Since March 2022, he has served as CIO of República AFAP, the largest Pension Savings Fund Administrator in Uruguay. In this role, he leads the design, implementation, and monitoring of the overall investment strategy, overseeing the construction and management of the portfolios under administration.

Mr. Giannini has a strong academic and professional background. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad de la República, is a CFA® charterholder, and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification awarded by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), one of the leading international credentials in financial risk management.
