Alberto Ñecco

Alberto Ñecco is a Peruvian economist from the University of Lima who holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD). The General Manager of CAF-AM has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector and investment banking at institutions such as ING Bank, Deutsche Bank, Banco de Crédito del Perú, and Credicorp Capital, where he played an active role in its creation through the acquisition of leading investment banks in Colombia and Chile. He later became the first Regional CFO of Credicorp Capital and subsequently Executive Director of Corporate Development, participating in the creation of the Credicorp/Sura partnership to develop private debt investment funds for infrastructure in Peru and Colombia.

More recently, he has worked in the public sector as Vice Minister of Transport and Executive Director of the Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversión), where during his tenure a total of 18 projects were awarded with an approximate total investment of USD 4.4 billion. He also promoted key initiatives to optimize public-private partnership (PPP) processes.
