She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Costa Rica. She also earned a Master's degree in Economics with an emphasis in Banking and Capital Markets from the University of Costa Rica, as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) from INCAE Business School.

She has more than 20 years of experience with BAC Financial Group, where she has served as General Manager of BAC Pensiones for the past seven years. In this role, she has led initiatives focused on strengthening investment management and expanding access to retirement savings solutions, making them available to a broader range of Costa Rican communities.
