Craig Woodmansee covers the Andean region as part of the Latin America Distribution team at First Trust Portfolios. Craig has over a decade of experience in ETFs and prior to his current role he was an ETF Portfolio Manager and Capital Markets Specialist at First Trust. As an ETF Portfolio Manager, he was responsible for the daily management of First Trust’s equity index ETFs. In his dual role as an ETF Capital Markets Specialist, Craig worked directly with exchanges, market makers, and authorized participants to ensure efficient trading of First Trust’s ETF suite.

Craig joined First Trust in August of 2018 after spending two years at Wolverine Execution Services, where he was responsible for institutional option and ETF execution strategies. Prior to this role, Craig spent four years at Vanguard covering the Latin America region where he specialized in ETF sales, portfolio construction, trading, and regulation for Latin American institutional clients.

Craig graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Craig also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
