Diego Mora, Managing Director, is Country Manager for Colombia, Peru & Central America, and a member of BlackRock’s Latin America Regional Operating Committee.
Mr. Mora joined BlackRock in 2006 as part of the Latin America team in San Francisco. In 2008, he relocated to Brazil, where his team was responsible for developing BlackRock’s business plan for the country, working on product development and serving as Head of Institutional Sales. In 2012, he moved to Colombia to establish BlackRock’s office in the country.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Mora worked as an Economic Research Analyst and Asset Allocation Specialist at Skandia Pensiones y Cesantías and Citibank in Bogotá, Colombia.
Mr. Mora earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.
