Felipe Lira

Felipe Lira is an economist and investment executive with nearly two decades of experience in asset management. Currently, he is the Chief Investment Officer at Principal Asset Management Chile, leading investment management for public funds and institutional mandates. He also heads Multi-Asset strategies for Latin America, overseeing Target Date and Target Risk solutions across Brazil, Mexico, and Chile. In addition, he serves as a Board Member of Principal AFORE.
Prior to joining Principal, Felipe was Chief Investment Strategist at AFP Capital, where he led the strategic and tactical asset allocation of the firm's pension funds. Earlier in his career, he held portfolio management and economic research roles at Moneda Asset Management and other leading institutions within Chile's financial sector.
Felipe holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Essex, an MA in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a degree in Commercial Engineering from the Universidad de La Frontera.
