Laura Fernández Delgado is the President of the Republic of Costa Rica for the 2026–2030 term. She has an extensive career in public service, with broad experience in institutional management, strategic planning, and public policy. Prior to assuming the presidency, she served as Minister of the Presidency and Minister of National Planning and Economic Policy.

Her administration is advancing a vision focused on strengthening the state, promoting economic development, enhancing public safety, and creating opportunities for all Costa Ricans.
